The meeting will be held at the Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Scientific Computation of the University of Campinas, located in the district of Barão Geraldo (view Google map, pdf in English, pdf in Portuguese), 90 km Northwest of São Paulo City, Brazil.
Travel information
Participants should plan to fly into the Viracopos International Airport (VCP) or the Guarulhos International Airport (GRU). There are daily buses from both airports to downtown Campinas (Largo do Pará) and to the Campinas Bus Station, from where it is possible to get a cab to Unicamp for about US$20. The cab fare from the VCP airport to Unicamp is approximately US$50.
For those who are going to Rio de Janeiro after the meeting, the VCP airport is a very good option, with direct flights to the Santos Dumont Airport (SDU) by the national companies Azul, Gol or TAM, for instance, from US$35 (about R$100).
About Visas. To enter Brazil, participants from the following countries should ask for a tourist visa: Australia, Canada, China, Korea, Cuba, Egypt, India, Japan, Russia, Spain, United States. For more informations concerning your country, please, ask to your nearest Brazilian Consulate.
Accommodations
We recommend participants to find accommodation in Barão Geraldo, to minimize travel time to Unicamp. See the list of some hotels in the nearby. The reservations have to be made directly to the hotel.
